New course for 2019 only
The traditional course from Pocono Summit to Stroudsburg will be impassable at the time of our 2019 races. PennDOT is replacing a bridge on PA 191 and there is no way to detour the course without adding or subtracting too much distance. Before registering for our 2019 Marathon or Half Marathon, take time to explore the new course maps, elevation profiles, and turn-by-turn directions for the new 2019 courses on the race pages. The 5K Road Race course is uneffected.
Race Start Times
The Marathon and Half Marathon will start at 7 am.
The 5k Road race will start at 8 am.

Vehicle Traffic on the Course
Runner safety is our number one concern. However, the majority of the course runs on public roads. The major intersections are manned. Most minor intersections are manned. Most of the course cannot be fully closed and runners must run at their own risk.
Marathon and Half Marathon runners must report to the start at Northampton Community College – Monroe Campus at 2411 Route 715, Tannersville, PA. All vehicular traffic must enter the campus off of Railroad Dr. (at GPS coordinates 41.035763, -75.320691). Red Cross volunteers will direct you to the appropriate parking space. Please follow their directions. Runners may leave their cars at the start and return by shuttle bus when they finish the race.
Clothing bags are available to runners at the start of the Marathon/Half Marathon. They will be marked with the runner’s bib number and are transported to the finish of each race.
