Marathon runners may also register in person at the Expo Saturday, May 19th, 2018 from 10 am – 5 pm if space remains.

The Run for the Red Pocono Marathon is an official Boston Marathon qualifier. Aid stations every 2 miles with water and Lemon-Lime Gatorade. “Gotta Go Potty” at each station.

No bicycles, roller skates/blades, skateboards, scooters, hand cycles, strollers, or other wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course at any time without prior written permission. Pets and non-registered runners are prohibited on the course. Marathon participants must be at least 18 years of age on 5/20/2018. The majority of the course runs on public roads. The major intersections are manned. Most minor intersections are manned. Most of the course cannot be fully closed and runners must run at their own risk. Course support will end at 1 pm and all Run for the Red provided health and safety services will terminate.

The top 3 male and female finishers in each of the following age categories will be awarded a plaque*²:
$6000 in prize money will be awarded in the following categories*³
1st Prize – $1500 – one male & one female
2nd Prize – $1000 – one male & one female
3rd Prize – $500 – one male & one female
*¹Register online to guarantee a technical shirt. Expo registrants will get a technical shirt after the race while supplies last.
*²Must be present at award ceremony at the Marathon finish to receive plaque, otherwise certificate will be emailed.
*³In accordance with USATF rules, college eligible athletes are not eligible to receive Cash Prizes.
