The Races Half Marathon Date: Sunday, May 15th, 2016 Time: 7am (New 2016 start time) Start: Pocono Mountain West High School, Pocono Summit, PA Entry Fee: $75 Through March 31 $90 April 1 Through May 14th or when registration reaches capacity (350 Runners) $40 Active Military* $25 Active Military Academy* *Email info@poconomarathon.org to receive a discount code Online registration closes Thursday, May 5th, 2016. Half Marathon runners may still register in person at the Expo Saturday, May 14th, 2016 if the cap has not been reached. Shirt not guaranteed to participants registering in person at the Expo. Review all of the information below and on the Important Information page before registering. Online registration is closed. Until the 350 runner cap is reached, you still have one more chance to register for the Half Marathon in person at the Runner's Expo on Saturday May 14th at the Stroudsburg High School Cafeteria between 10am-7pm. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. Event Technical Shirt available while supplies last. The Course Half marathon runners follow the full marathon course finishing at mile 13.1. Aid stations every 2 miles with water and Lemon-Lime Gatorade. "Gotta Go Potty" at each station. View course map View course in Google Maps View course elevation profiles View turn-by-turn course description Rules No bicycles, roller skates/blades, skateboards, scooters, hand cycles, strollers, or other wheeled vehicles or pets are allowed on the course at any time. Marathon participants must be at least 13 years of age on 5/15/2016. The majority of the course runs on public roads. The major intersections are manned. Most minor intersections are manned. Most of the course cannot be fully closed and runners must run at their own risk. Course support will end at 1pm and all Run for the Red provided health and safety services will terminate.
