| The Races Marathon Relay Date: Sunday, May 17th, 2015 Time: 8am Start: Pocono Mountain West High School, Pocono Summit, PA Team Size: 2 Runners Entry Fee: $130 Per Team Through March 31 $160 Per Team April 1 Through May 16th or when registration reaches capacity (150 Teams) Online registration closes Thursday, May 7th, 2015. Relay teams may still register at the Expo Saturday, May 16th, 2015 if the cap has not been reached. Register Now! View course map View course in Google Maps View course elevation profiles View turn-by-turn course description Rules Relay teams consist of 2 runners and each member runs 13.1 miles. One team member runs the first half of the marathon course. The other member runs the second half, starting when the first member reaches them at the marathon half way point. The second runner's chip time starts automatically when the first runner crosses the half way point timing mat. No strollers, bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, roller blades, hand cycles, or other wheeled vehicles or pets are allowed on the course at any time. The course will close at 2pm and all Race provided health and safety services will terminate. Runners on the course after 2pm will be at their own risk. All Marathon Relayers Will Receive Souvenir Timing Chip Technical Shirt All Marathon Relay Finishers Will Receive A Relay Finisher Medal Post Race Refreshments Awards The top team finishers in each of the following categories will be awarded a trophy: Male Team Female Team Mixed Team Male Masters Team* Female Masters Team* Mixed Masters Team* *Masters Team is a combined age of 110+ |
