The Run for the Red planning committee and the American Red Cross have decided to cancel the 2021 Run for the Red events. Registration for the races would be under a massive cloud of uncertainty about the ability to hold an event of this size in May.

While this is the right decision in the face of a continuing pandemic, it makes us sad to think of another year without a marathon in the Pocono Mountains. We will be missing all of our runners and volunteers until we can come together again.

Hi runners,

Thanks for your patience! Today we processed all refund requests that we have gotten up until this point. Please allow 7-10 days for the refund to show on the original credit card that you used to purchase your registration.

Thank you to those that have chosen to make their registration fee a donation to the American Red Cross!
If you have not e-mailed us regarding your choice to have a refund or to donate your fee, you have until May 31 to make your request, at which point all remaining registrations will be converted to donations.
