Marathon, Relay and 5K runners can pick up their registration packet including a race bib, Pocono Mountain Run for the Red shirt and "Goodie Bag" at the host hotel, the Pocono Plaza Inn, on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Volunteers will be on hand all day to make registering as convenient as possible. Simply stop by the Pocono Plaza Inn anytime from 10 am until 5 pm. After you register, be sure to check out all of the great items at this year's Runner's EXPO
 

After you register, check out all of the great vendors and items at this years Runner's EXPO. The EXPO will run from 10 am until 5 pm and will include an assortment of items designed for runners and their families. In addition to the latest in comfort for sneakers and clothing, runners will see a variety of unique hard to find items. The EXPO will also have on hand speakers to educate runners about every twist and turn of the 26.2 mile marathon. This is also your chance to meet the marathon pacers! After checking out all the great booths, be sure to attend the Pasta Party (FREE for all Marathon Runners) at the Pocono Plaza Inn. Dinner is served from 5-8 pm.

Runners, along with friends and family members, are invited to enjoy the pasta dinner after registering for the race and checking out the Runner's EXPO. It all happens at the Pocono Plaza Inn on Saturday, May 19th from 5-8 pm.

The Pasta Party is sponsored by Dana Foley Realty Executives and US Foodservice and is free to all marathon runners. The cost is $7 per person for all non-marathon runners, children under 12 years of age are $5, and if you are under 3 you eat for free. The menu includes lots of pasta, salad, bread, and dessert goodies.

Be sure to plan your day so you can register for the race, visit the Runner's EXPO, and enjoy the Pasta Party, all without leaving the hotel. The day begins with race registration and the Runner's EXPO both opening at 10 am and continuing until 5 pm to give all of the race runners plenty of time to register. The Runner's EXPO is free and everyone is invited to visit the many vendors who will be on hand, offering the latest in running apparel and training tips.

The Pocono Mountain Run for the Red Marathon is a fundraiser for the American Red Cross of the Poconos. All of the money raised through the marathon goes directly to help the local disaster relief program.
