Marathon, Relay and 5K runners can pick up their pre-registration packet including a race bib, Pocono Mountain Run for the Red shirt and “Goodie Bag”, at the Host Hotel on Saturday May 15, 2010. Volunteers will be on hand all day to make registering as convenient as possible. Simply stop by the host hotel, The Chateau Resort anytime from 10am until 5pm. After you register be sure to check out all the great items at this year’s Runner’s EXPO

After you register, check out all the great vendors and items at this year’s Runner’s EXPO. The EXPO will run from 10am until 5pm and will include an assortment of items all designed for runner’s and their families. In addition, to the latest in comfort for sneakers and clothing runners will see a variety of unique hard to find runner’s items. The EXPO will also have on hand speakers to educate runners about every twist and turn of the 26.2 mile marathon. After checking out all the great booths be sure to plan to attend the Pasta Party (FREE for all Marathon Runners) at the host hotel, The Chateau Resort. Dinner is served from 5-8pm

FREE for all Marathon Runners!
Runners along with friends and family members are invited to enjoy the great dinner after registering for the race and checking out the Runner’s EXPO. It all happens at the Host Hotel, The Chateau Resort on Saturday, May 15th from 5-8pm.
The Pasta Party is sponsored by The Chateau Resort and is free to all marathon runners. The cost is $7 per person for all non-marathon runners, children under 12 years of age are $5, and if you are under 3 you can eat for free. The menu will include lots of pasta, salad, bread, and dessert goodies.
Be sure to plan your day so you can register for the race, visit the Runner’s EXPO and enjoy the Pasta Party, all without leaving The Chateau Resort. The day begins with race registration and the Runner’s EXPO both opening at 10am and continuing until 5pm to give Marathon runners along with relay and 5K racers plenty of time to register for their race. The Runner’s EXPO is free and everyone is invited to visit the many vendors who will be on hand, offering the latest in running apparel and training tips.
The Pocono Mountain Run for the Red Marathon is a fundraiser for the Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross. All the money raised through the marathon will go directly to help the local disaster relief program.
